Sony's live-streaming service is now available on Google's smart TV platform.

Sony on Thursday announced that you can now watch TV shows, movies, and sports through PlayStation Vue on Android TVs. To try it out, download the PS Vue app on your Android TV, sign in to your account, and voila — you can begin streaming your favorite TV content right away.

The service supports TVs running Android PS 4.4 or higher. If you don't have a PS Vue account, you can sign up for a one-week free trail via the PS Vue website, then link your account to your Android TV.

Sony also announced that PS Vue users will soon be able to access the service on PC and Mac devices via the Web.

'This will include some unique features, such as a 'mini-player,' which allow you to shrink the player to the corner of the browser window and continue browsing PS Vue for a convenient experience,' PS Vue Head of Product Dan Myers wrote in a blog post.

Sony has several different PS Vue plans to choose from, including $29.99, $34.99, $44.99, or $64.99 per month, offering between 55 and more than 100 channels, including AMC, Comedy Central, Cartoon Network, Disney, and ESPN. The most expensive plan, dubbed 'ultra,' comes with HBO and Showtime, plus more than 100 channels. Plan prices go up to $39.99, $44.99, and $54.99, and $74.99 in cities with major live local broadcast stations, including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, Dallas, San Francisco, and Miami.

Besides Android TVs, PS Vue is also currently available on PlayStation 4, PS3, Amazon Fire TV, Roku, and Chromecast devices, plus iOS and Android. With PC Vue, you can simultaneously stream content on up to five devices, and record 'hundreds of shows at once' in the cloud.
